Inspired by my funny back yard chickens and their beautiful eggs. And an homage to all that we give our loving attention to, all that we incubate in hopes that they will crack open, hatch, and come alive. And in the tradition of artists like Vera Neumann, who feed my creative spirit to bring my own ideas to life. Cheers to a wonderful 2013 to all of you - thank you!

Part of the reason we started to produce our Queen Bee Panniers was to encourage and inspire people (especially women) to ride a bike. Having the right gear and accessories can make what was a daunting prospect feel more manageable. Along with the panniers, we’ve curated a select number of additional items that complement this mission. Give the gift of joy, sustainability, and fun!
Queen Bee Panniers: Available in several flap options (Poppy shown below), made with waterproof fabrics, reflective sides, and each one comes with a shoulder strap for carrying off the bike. $124 each or $230 for a set of two.
Queen Bee Handlebar Streamers: We make these from our scraps of waterproof faux-leather fabric scraps and shiny reflective material. A great gift for a kiddo in your life or a grownup who is a kid at heart! The whimsy of these streamers matches the sweet feeling of freedom that bicycling embodies. $15 each, several color options.
Queen Bee Waxed Canvas Bag & PDW Takeout Basket combo: This is our second round of designing a custom bag for the Takeout Basket by our friends at Portland Design Works. Made with waxed canvas & lined with nylon, this water-resistant bag secures to the rack while you’re riding, and detaches easily when you need to hop off your bike and into your destination. Sized to hold a six pack, a change of clothes, your dress shoes, lunch, or any other small-ish cargo. Buy the whole kit-n-caboodle ($168), or the bag on its own ($76).

This is just the thing to give to that special someone that really *wants* to start bike commuting, but needs some guidance and inspiration. $12 in our shop or over the phone: 503.232.1755
Hop in the Saddle: Three Portland gals got together to create the wonder that is this guidebook to Portland bike rides that take you to the best spots for enjoying the local craft beer scene. Bikes + Beer + Portland = Radness. $10 each in the shop or call to order over the phone: 503.232.1755

Bonus: It kinda looks like a nice monster face.
